Ed
Schnexayder
III's

Maydel,
lost
her

Maydel
has
endured
a
very
hard
year
losing
her
husband
and
father
to
cancer
in
a
short
6
months.
Below
is
her

Manual's
Obituary
A
few
people
have
emailed
for
Maydel
and
her
mom's
address
which
are
below
(note
-
Maydel
moved
into
a
new
house
a
few
months
ago
-
it's
a
1
story
which
is
easier
for
her
with
the
twins.
It's
still
very
close
to
her
mom's
house).

WHAT
CANCER
CAN'T
DO
It
cannot
take
your
memories,
It
cannot
take
your
faith,
It
cannot
shatter
your
hope,
It
cannot
lessen
your
love.
It
cannot
destroy
true
friendship,
It
cannot
invade
your
soul,
It
cannot
take
away
your
eternal
life.
It
cannot
conquer
your
spirit.

Wedding
day.

The
wonderful
staff
at
UCB
bank
in
Gonzales
put
together
a
jambalaya
dinner
and
sold
them
out
front
of
the
Gonzales
Wal-Mart.
They
sold
out
fast.
Ed's
family
donated
the
proceeds
to
Riki's
daughter
Rylee
and
to
Kirby
Hawthorne.
What
a
wonderful
and
generous
gift.
I'm
sure
Ed
and
Riki
are
proud
of
their
loved
ones
for
such
compassion
and
thoughtfulness.
The
Baton
Rouge
and
Ascension
Parish
Communities
have
been
nothing
short
of
amazingly
generous.
BIG
thanks
to
these
communities.
Thanks
to
everyone
for
their
continued
support
of
Ed's
family.
I
would
like
to
thank
the
entire
Schexnaydre
family
for
hosting
our
families
first
"Schex
a
Leg"
cookout.
It
was
a
wonderful
time.
Leah,
Julie,
Monica,
Sheri,
Ed
Jr,
Martha,
Maydel,
Alan
and
Madeline
will
be
in
my
prayers
and
in
my
thoughts.
I
look
forward
to
many
more
get
togethers.
The
Legnon
Family
I
did
not
get
the
blessing
of
meeting
Ed
face
to
face.
But
I
did
manage
to
speak
with
him
many
times
over
the
past
few
months.
He
was
unbelievabley
stong
in
his
faith
and
proud
of
his
family.
It
is
our
selfishness
that
morns
Ed
and
wishes
to
keep
him
here.
But
his
sacrafice
is
what
we
should
rejoice
as
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
now
new
and
improved.
His
love
and
passion
for
life
will
live
on
in
his
beautiful
children.
I
remain
your
faithful
friend
Ed,
Buddy
4/24/05
It
is
with
a
very
sad
and
broken
heart
that
I
bring
you
this
news.
At
9:50pm
last
night,
4/23/05,
God
called
my
brother
Ed
home
to
him.
He
fought
so
hard
but
God
was
ready
for
him
in
Heaven.
Please
continue
to
keep
his
wife,
Maydel,
and
twins
Madeline
and
Alan
in
your
prayers.
They
will
miss
their
papa
so
much.
Thanks
to
all
of
you
for
all
of
your
thoughts
and
prayers.
We
will
see
Ed
again
someday
and
he
will
always
be
with
each
of
us.
Funny,
I
have
to
say,
his
server
came
back
up
yesterday
and
when
I
saw
that
I
kind
of
had
a
feeling
that
he
was
just
tying
up
his
loose
ends.
Ed
was
so
worried
about
getting
it
back
online.
Funny
how
that
happened
with
nobody
working
on
it,
huh?
The
site
hasn't
been
updated
in
a
few
months,
but
if
you
would
like
to
check
it
out
anyway,
there
are
some
pictures
of
Ed,
Maydel,
and
the
twins.

Go
to
the
family
tab
I
think.
Well,
we
all
know
that
God
has
worked
many
miracles
through
my
brother.
Now
it
is
our
responsibility
to
spread
the
word
and
praise
God
for
allowing
us
to
have
him
in
our
lives.
May
God
bless
you
and
your
families.
I'll
try
to
send
out
the
wake/funeral
details
once
finalized.
Sincerely,
Sheri
